Thoughts of NYC

After an hour of viewing devastating images of hurricane Sandy’s impact on New York City, I thought perhaps I’d share a few positive images from my trip out there a few months ago.

Being a bit of a country boy, a week in one of the most populated cities on earth is about as much as i can handle. But for inspiration, there is nothing like exploring Manhattan on a skateboard and taking it all in. The chaotic sounds, the smell of garbage followed by fresh baguettes and pastries, music everywhere, i mean EVERYWHERE, and endless amounts of art.

But what really makes New York unique is the people. So many friendly faces and such great wisdom held within a magical island.

And so, my heart and thoughts go out to all those amazing people, and everyone else affected by hurricane Sandy.
