Weddings:
Let me say first off, I love alternative weddings, in fact they are what inspired me to begin shooting weddings in the first place. Be it on the beach, a barn or on top of a downtown building, the idea of creating images that are as unique as the wedding is what drives my inspiration. Unlike most wedding photographers, I prefer to cover the entire day of events without time restraints. The special and unique moments only occur in-between the planned events, therefore I’d rather be there when they catch my eye, than try and fit everything into a typical 7 or 8hr day. I don’t shoot overly planned or fake moments, and I prefer that things just unfold naturally. This is why an important part of my wedding photography is shooting with old film cameras. Yep thats right, i still use film! We are a dying breed, who believe that the warmth and energy captured on still-film is far superior to that of the digital world. For me, combining digital and film photography allow me to be creative and precise, and work somewhere between the past and the present.

As an exhibiting and editorial photographer, I am constantly printing and experimenting with layouts. I much prefer to take care of all printing, wedding albums, framing and canvases. Although each client will receive discs with all the finished high and low-resolution files, each approved image is available to purchase in a range of prints through an online proofing gallery. So you can share your own personal gallery with friends and family through email and facebook, allowing them to easily pick and choose their own prints on their own time. My studio is partners with the best printing labs in Australia, USA and Canada, to guarantee 200-year archival prints and the finest hand-made wedding albums – individually designed and tailored to each client.

There are no location or culture boundaries either, I will shoot anywhere in the world.

My aim is to capture unique and timeless moments in everything i do, using a range of processes that continually inspire me.
